          • Select Internal Microphone to record audio (e.g., your voice), or choose None for silent video.
        • Show Mouse Clicks (Optional): Check “Show Mouse Clicks in Recording” to highlight clicks with a circle (useful for tutorials).
        • Quality: QuickTime records at your screen’s native resolution (e.g., 2560×1600 for Retina displays), ensuring high quality by default.

        4- Choose Recording Area:

          • Full Screen: Click the red record button, then click anywhere on the screen to start recording the entire desktop.
          • Partial Screen: Click the red button, then drag to select a specific area. Click Start Recording in the center of the selection.

            • Perform the actions you want to capture (e.g., demo an app, navigate menus).
            • The recording runs in the background; a small stop icon appears in the menu bar.

            6- Stop the Recording:

              • Click the stop icon in the menu bar (a square inside a circle), or press Command + Control + Esc.
              • QuickTime will display the recorded video.

              7- Save the Recording:

                • Go to File > Save (or press Command + S).
                • Name your file, choose a location (e.g., Desktop), and save it as a .mov file.
